Youth football at Abbotsford Juniors Football Club offers male and female players the opportunity to play football in Under 13 to Under 18 age groups.  The Club has teams of varying levels of ability from highly competitive Division 1 teams through to social and friendship-based teams in most age groups.

    Youth Football at AJFC

Our Winter season 11-a-side football games are played in the Football Canterbury Association “Home and Away” girls and boys competition leagues (results and league tables) on full size football fields pitches. Youth teams are graded into age-group based divisions by the Association with input from the Club based on the team’s past performance and ability.

AJFC provides access to Summer season football via the Football Canterbury Association “FC Sixes” competition. The Club also provides support for our teams that register in one of the main Summer football competitions that are available in the Inner West of Sydney.

    Teams and Player Registration

Youth football teams generally train once a week on a team-agreed day and time (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays only) and play games against other Association Clubs on a Saturday or Sunday morning (dependent upon age group).

Male and female youth team games are regularly scheduled and played on a Sunday with younger teams generally playing at earlier start times. Players can expect to play half of their team games at AJFC’s home fields at Campbell Park and Lysaght Park with the remainder distributed across other member Club’s fields.
