Wet Weather Impact To Games
Wet weather can cause fields to be closed by Clubs and/or local Councils when they determine the field to be usable. In the event of wet weather, AJFC members should monitor AJFC social media and our website for updates on game status.
A decision on whether Mini-Roos games proceed will be taken and communicated to Mini-Roos participants by the Club. Communication will be initially via AJFC social media to ensure the quickest notice possible to all members.
Email advice on the field closure will be sent to all Mini-Roos participants and a news update posted on AJFC website as soon as practical after a decision is taken. Please note that this may be at short notice particularly in circumstances where overnight or morning rain is involved but every consideration to the convenience and safety of players and members will be taken.
Reporting an Injury
Injuries are a fact of life in football. Whether in games or training, players are often injured and sometimes it is not known if it is serious until well after the event.
When an injury occurs it is important that a team official (coach or team manager) report the injury through the Club’s online form as soon as possible.
Insurance claims are only possible by a players if this step is completed. Time limits do apply and members should familiarise themselves with Football NSW’s Insurance provider’s terms and conditions.
