Mini-Roos football (Small-Sided Football) at Abbotsford Juniors Football Club is a great introduction to the world of soccer and is structured to ensure children have a fun and enjoyable experience whilst learning our great game. The AJFC Mini-Roos football program is one of the most popular within the inner west of Sydney and sees Under 6 and Under 7 mixed teams of boys and girls formed to train once a week and play non-competitive games versus other Abbotsford Juniors teams on Saturday mornings.
Participation is open to children aged 5 to 7 years and with AJFC teams comprised of 10 or 12 players, school friendship groups can train and play together. The Club also runs special skill development sessions and gala days for our MIni-Roos players which take place during the Winter football season. AJFC Mini-Roos football is not offered at our Campbell Park home fields during summer due to field unavailability.
- Play 4-a-side games (2 x 20 minute halves)
